Mohammad Khan, Waterloo Pickleball organizer, had a prime Austin location—skyline views near Zilker Park—but the surface was a nightmare.
“We had these roll-out mats,” Mohammad explained. “Three hundred pounds each, constantly blowing over in the wind. I can’t tell you how many hours I spent pressure washing, squeegeeing, and gluing them back down. It was becoming more of a headache than a pleasure.”
